Donna Russell (with the Alabama Alliance for Arts Education) sent me some information I wanted to share with you. This summer they are hosting a workshop focusin on arts integration or SAIL (Sustaining Artful Instruction and Learning). I attended last year(along with some of our other fabulous art educators: Mary Jake Coker, Shelly Bailey, Staci Jacks, Arlene Johnson, Jennifer Winholtz, Trista Nabors and more...sure I forgot somebody here). So feel free to ask somebody about the experience. It will focus on arts integrations, demystifying assessments in art education, and explore collaborations and partnerships.
It is going to be from June 30-July 3 at the Alabama 4H Center in Columbia.
